Hello List,
my aim is to host multiple VMs which are redundant and are high available.
It should also scale well.
I think usually people just buy a fat iSCSI Storage and attach this. In my
case it should scale well from very small nodes to big ones.
Therefore an iSCSI Target will bring a lot of
Hello Ron,

Since oVirt does not support DRBD out of the box i came up with my own

If it supports gluster you might be able to use it for DRBD.

Hello List,
i would like to use a dedicated Bonding Interface for Gluster Replication
and Migration.
I was already able to add my Bonding Interfaces in my Hosts-Network Tab,
however i am failing to tell Gluster to use this interface. It only offers
me nodeX.local (which is my managment network).
Hi Vijay,
i deleted the Cluster/Datacenter and set it up with two new (physical)
Hosts and now the performance looks great.
I dunno what i did wrong. Thanks a lot

Hello List,
i am very new to ovirt. I am setting up a 2 Node Cluster with GlusterFS

I was about to buy a 2-Port Intel Gbit nic for each host which is about

However, for a little extra of 180Eur you get a 10GBit Infiniband -

Hello Mario,
you can set the ISO_DOMAIN to maintenance and then detach it from the
cluster. All nodes will umount this NFS share when detaching it.
You can do your backup etc.
unfortunatelly this does not
turn of your engine and leave it detached, because normally
it is not needed all the time.
Or create a new ISO_DOMAIN storage at a more save place.
