[Users] ovirt-node: cannot make new libvirtd.conf persistent

2013-07-02 Thread Winfried de Heiden
Hi all,

I tried to make some changes to /etc/libvirt/libvirtd.conf on ovirt-node
(the latest one) However, after reboot the old configuration keeps
coming back.

I tried persist /etc/libvirt/libvirtd.conf; the file is already
persisted. OK, unpersisted the file, verified the change and persisted
the file once more. Still, after reboot the old file keeps coming back.

How can I make a persistent change to /etc/libvirt/libvirtd.conf on
ovirt-node (ovirt-node-iso-2.6.1-20120228.fc18.iso)?

Thanks!

Winfried

Hey Winfried,

a quick guess is that vdsm might be overwriting your config when it's
getting started.
But there is currently no way to disable a service on ovirt-node.
