Can you set a host in maintenace (from the UI) ?If there were running VMs, you might have to shut them down via virsh, reboot and mark the host as 'Host has been rebooted'.Then from the UI you can enroll the certificates again. I had a similar situation and ended up manually replacing the host's certificates (See ML link below), which more or less got everything working again (virt-viewer didn't work). In that case you should put the system into the "Global Maintenance" mode before running engine-setup, or the hosted-engine HA agent might kill the machine, which might corrupt your data. [ERROR] Failed to execute stage 'Setup validation': Hosted Engine setup detected, but Global Maintenance is not set. ... I had the same issue on multiple setups (single machine, gluster cluster, etc). You'll need to renew the certificates on the hosted engine (From the hosted engine using engine-setup --offline).
