Hi, there is no ovirt 4.7, the latest (and it could be the last ☹) version of ovirt is 4.5. Probably you mean 4.4.7? Probably enabling HPET is not needed so often, so I guess it is just a missing feature of ovirt. Anyway, replying on your question - it is wrong to modify Libvirt XML, the
