Thanks!! j my 2cent fix: modify the update-data.sh script to include a "header file" wherever you need it, before, after, or in the middle (might require a little regexp work) of the "dowloaded" zone files infos. but again.. it's a cheap fix ..

I know this is a bit off-topic but are you saying that tinydns supports geodns entries? Is this a patch? I have been curious about geodns for some time but have not had the time to look into it.
