As I wanted to enable email notifications of page updates, I entered our

Ok thanks, for the issue I will, but I want to check before that it's the
case on a fresh 2.1.1 install (because mine is the result of numerous
migrations, and I never re-imported the preferences page, so maybe it has
been corrected meanwhile in xwiki).

For your informations: as far as i can see in the code there is only
one way to have the IndexUpdater to null (whichgenerate a
nullpointerexcetion in #getQueueSize) is when during the init the
index can't be opened. In this case you should find a log looking like
this:
Failed to open the index
The problem is still there. We still don't get it running, even if the
orai18n.jar is not in the folder.

I just committed some improvements to the Lucene plugin, it does not
fix the issue but at least:
- it does not break the Lucene page anymore (but it print a detailed error log)
- more and better logs
- fluchCache is now able to try to reinit properly the plugin even if
the plugin is in wrong state
Hi Oscar,
i dont know about to think, only thing that i can imagine is the jar is not
ok, corrupted or something like that.
pls, try downloading again the jar, put it in /WEB-INF/lib xwiki´s folder,
create a user xwiki with proper grants (create database, create table,
etc...), put the war into
Hello folks,
The Meta+G feature is one of the coolest widely used feature at my

I am trying to use the Meta+G/Jump To Page feature over XEM 2.1.1 wikis.

I wish there was more info in my logs...I paused actively watching and

plugin when needed in a groovy try{...getQueueSize()...} catch -block on a

Thanks for your quick response Sergiu. The wiki is a path-based wiki.
That is strange, it should work perfectly well in a virtual wiki, and
you can try to see that it works on the *.xwiki.org farm, and on
incubator.myxwiki.org.
You can check with Firebug or HttpHeaders to check where does

Hi Alonso.
Thank you for all the hints. You are writing about creating table. How do I
create the table? I thought, that xwiki is doing this after the right
configuration. Am I right? Or have you a simple how-to for creating the
table? I have on oracle the user xwiki with all privileges. The

Hi Sergiu,
Thanks for filing this issue as a bug your prompt response.
The JS code will have to be fixed, I'll work on it, see

The problem is definitely that XWiki can't get at the jdbc connector so I don't
think creating the database will help, also XWiki uses a complicated schema
so creating the tables manually is not really an option.
I would go into the WEB-INF/lib and find the jdbc connector jar you added,
open it
I will look on this tommorow. I don't have the access to the dev server from
my house but only from my work site. I will post the results tommorow

Thanks for now.
