Experience with Non-relational databases (MongoDB, Hadoop, Cassandra, etc.) a plus. - Focus on clean high-quality code, solid designs and scalable solutions. - Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment. - Experience with large-scale multi-tiered systems and service-oriented architecture. - Love of agile coding methodologies. - Experience with social media platforms and functionality. - Strong communication skills are a must. *Preferred Qualifications:* - Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers - Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations. - Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project. - Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* - Participant in full development life cycle, working within broadly defined parameters and a dynamic, fast-paced, agile environment. - Own the delivery of an entire piece of a system or application and serve as a technical lead on small to midsize complex projects. - Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments. - Work closely with architects to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development. - Build software solutions where the problem is not well defined. Creative problem solving is a must.
