Can you please have a look at the JD and let me know if you have any suitable candidate for the same. *Job Title: Business Analyst* *Location: Richmond, VA* *Duration: 9+ Months Contract* *Mode of Interview: Phone + In-Person Interview [Need Local Candidates only-No Exception]* *Description:* · Experienced Applications Systems Business Analyst · Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review application system capabilities, workflow, scheduling and interface dependencies. · May analyze or recommend commercially available software. · Work with business customers and application developers to translate business processes into application requirements. · Review data use and attributes to define interface and data conversion requirements and mappings. · Analyze business information processing needs and plan and design automated solutions, using techniques such as structured analysis, data modeling and information engineering. · Create requirements traceability matrix documents and assist in customer and developer testing to validate business functionality. · Experience with SharePoint 2010 development projects and use case documentation preferred. *Responsibilities:* · Collect information to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems. · Research, plan, configure, troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade software for application systems. · Analyze and evaluate present or proposed business procedures or problems to define data processing needs. · Prepare detailed flow charts and diagrams outlining systems capabilities and processes. · Research and recommend hardware and software development, purchase, and use. · Work as a team member with other technical staff, such as systems engineers, database analysts, and data administrators to ensure desired functionality and compatibility between applications and systems. · Write and maintain business process work flow, use case and application end-user documentation. · Document application or system problems and resolutions for future reference. · Update project plans and status reporting to indicate status, issues and risks associated with assignments. · Create use-case scenario requirements documents that can be translated to application requirements. · Create project scope and level of effort analysis based on functional requirements desired and application resources available. · Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Sharepoint. · Other duties as assigned.
