EDI Consultant. Long Island, NY OR Shelton CT Duration : 6+ Months Qualifications • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, MIS/Information Technology, Business, Finance or related or an equivalent combination of experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities • 3-5 years in related ERP Support Analyst / EDI Specialist role within a wholesale distribution environment supporting both EDI and ERP packaged software. • Knowledge with formal testing and quality assurance (QA). • Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products. • Demonstrated experience in successfully interacting directly with business users and third-parties such as customers. • Knowledge of various connectivity solutions (VAN, AS2, FTP, XML). • EDI Transactions: 753, 754, 810, 832, 850, 855, 856, etc. • QlikView or other Business Intelligence tool skills are helpful. • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
