Location: - Pontiac MI Duration: Long term Rate: DOE (Note: Need Only USC) *Email Protection Services Specialist - Advanced* *Required technical skill areas:* - SMTP/Internet email knowledge - Understand uses of ports, MX priorities, advanced routing options, protocol troubleshooting, Configuration and use of required TLS, understanding of MIME, S/MIME, and message structure, knowledge of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, 5+ years IT experience supporting multiple messaging platforms. - Linux Operating System - Ability to build, install, and configure Linux, determine services available, patching options, working knowledge of iptables, ability to troubleshoot configuration problems - Domain Name Service - Understands use and structure of SOA records, TTLs, master/slave relationship, zone transfersDeep technical expertise to resolve complex messaging/database corruption issues - TCP/IP Networking - Understand of the ISO network model and TCP/UDP protocols. Understand of routing tables and CIDR notation. Understand of IPv4 and IPv6 general structure - Open-Source MTAs (Sendmail and Postfix) - Able to troubleshoot complex MTA configurations including integration with AV and AS tools, DNSBLs, configure TLS, identify the use of milters - Antispam and Antivirus tools - Understand the use of Antispam and Antivirus tools and options such as DNSBLs, content-based filtering, heuristics, finger-printing and understand how to integrate those with MTAs - Be familiar with mail relay appliance solutions, installation and configuration, advanced ruleset configuration, LDAP query configuration for systems such as *Ironport, Symantec *Appliances*,* Axway, MEG, and/or Voltage - Cloud Solutions – Deploy and configure cloud-based email hygiene solutions such as Symantec MessageLabs and Microsoft FOPE. Experience configuring local relay solutions, directory sync tools, and mail relay filtering tools - Email Encryption Tools – Understand use and configuration of TLS, S/MIME, and PGP transport and content encryption tools. Able to configure and troubleshoot TLS implementation - Monitoring Tools – Experience with SMTP and Linux monitoring tools - Ability to handle high severity critical incidents independently with very limited assistance - Mentor junior staff on technology upgrades and new features on the messaging platform *Preferred certifications:* - RHCSA, RHCE, Appliance certifications *Preferred experience/skills:* - MySQL Database – ability to create databases and define schema, create complex queries involving multiple tables - Apache Web Server – Install and configure Apache, build and deploy content using interactive back-end systems - Perl – Ability to create, maintain, and troubleshoot complex perl programs - Firewalls – Knowledge of firewall configuration and troubleshooting including iptables Thanks & Regards Siva Kumar|Recruiting Manager Procorp Systems Inc.
