Candidate should be comfortable diagnosing large on premise networks, applications, and systems and have the capacity to build plans for leveraging cloud technologies and providers as it relates to the underlying network architecture. Ideally, this candidate will have a strong networking background, but will have a breadth in cloud technologies and have recently transitioned into a cloud consulting role.* *Capabilities:* CCNP to CCIE level routing/switching expert Demonstrated experience with LAN/WAN, all routing protocols, VCP design, Cloud Connect and Software Defined Networking *Proficient in layers 1-5 of the OSI model* *Hands on experience and deep understanding of GTMs, Load balancers, Cisco ACI* *Previous experience at a large cloud provider is a plus (Azure, Google, Akamai, Level 3)* *Knowledge of vendor-specific terms such as GCP and NVA* Deep understanding of enterprise network support and migrations One person needed asap deal starts in 2 weeks Duration 2 mos initially, then up to 1 yr if good guy End customer facing so they need good communication skills Direct experience with Cloud infrastructure related architecture and consulting Need direct experience with: a. Google & Azure internetworking experience (ie, consulted/designed/implemented interconnecting a customer's network into Google or Azure's network to access these cloud services) b Candidates should also have experience with WAN connectivity to larger ISPs to various data centers. Nice to have skills: c. Checkpoint firewall d. Cisco route/switch e.
