*Duration:* 12+ Months *Pay Rate:* $55/hr on C2C *Job Description:* - This technical developer provides operational support to functional departments and users, including troubleshooting Oracle software problems and detecting and resolving problems using established IT process and procedures. - This role includes application technology development for Oracle eBusiness application including iProcurement, Purchasing, Inventory, Order Management and interfaces to and from the application. - Work closely with IT Management, developers, business users and other business analysts on requirements, system analysis, design and implementation of new modules, features, reports and business processes. *Skills Profile:* - Knowledge and hands-on experience with the following - Designing and developing web services that allow ‘real-time’ integration with Oracle EBS - Experience with edits, personalization, user hooks and other Oracle methods and configuration techniques - Developing and maintaining Oracle interfaces to/from external systems - Experience with software and Infrastructure Change Management, Release Management, and Source Code Configuration Control - Experience with report writing tools like Discover/Crystal Reports. - Understanding of eBusiness Suite (Purchasing, Inventory, Order Management and iProcurement) and Core Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA) - Working with custom Workflow /WF builder and Resolve Workflow issues - Experience with shared appl_top, 10G application server, and OID/SSO with Oracle ERP 11.5.10/R12 - Developing P/SQL packages, procedures and functions - Working with tools and utilities; TOAD, PL/SQL, SQL Plus - Utilizing an applying other Oracle development tools such as Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Workflow Builder an the OA Framework - Creating Technical Design Specifications to support Oracle eBusiness functional design *Responsibilities:* - Develop and maintain interfaces to/from external systems and custom code in accordance with business requirements. - Utilize and apply Oracle development tools such as Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Workflow Builder and the OA Framework - Provide the setups in the Oracle application necessary to deploy and maintain developed components - Code software using the following technologies: PL / SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, XML Publisher, OAF, J2EE or ADF, and JDeveloper 10g+ - Participate in and adhere to the code management process, including use of source-code control utilities and facilitation of migration of code across multiple Oracle instances - Understand and apply application tuning techniques to improve code performance - Understand and apply System Development Life Cycle methodologies - Understand and apply Change and Configuration Management policies and procedures - Identify design limitations and mitigate technology-based business risk - Document all technical designs. Document Technical Design Specification based on Functional Specifications - Work with IT, business partners and internal customers to identify business requirements - Be responsible for complete unit testing and integration testing *Requirements:* - Five or more years of recent, hands-on technical experience in coding software using the following technologies: PL / SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, XML Publisher, OAF, J2EE or ADF, and JDeveloper 10g+ - Minimum of 4 years of recent, hands-on technical experience in Oracle 10g/11g DBMS and SQL tuning, indexing analysis, partitioning - Must have strong writing and communication skills; able to communicate with technical and business community. - Must be able to manage multiple assignments, set priorities and meet deadlines. - Analytic thinker- takes time to fully understand issues, ask appropriate questions and be able to present solutions and follow through to completion. - Must be able and willing to travel within the 5 boroughs of Manhattan to various facilities will be required. - This Position includes on call and nights/weekends responsibilities. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "USITCV" group.
