Technical BA Lead Torrance, CA 12+ months Responsibilities Gathers, refines and validates complex business requirements, interdependencies, potential risks and issues Analyzes business partner's operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions Assists in the business process design or redesign and documentation as needed Translates high level business requirements into functional specification and manages changes to such specifications Facilitates communication and gains commitment between business units to align solutions with business strategies Develops complex business cases Works on multiple projects as a project team member, at times as a project leader May coach and mentor less experienced staff Assist with facilitating project governance and corporate priorities Daily Tasks Performed Provide technical leadership to the overall program (consisting of core team, internal ISD teams and vendor delivery teams) Mentor the core application development team members through technical problem and challenges that arise during the various stages of the SDLC lifecycle Establish guidelines and standards that need to be followed by all tracks of the program (for all phases of the SDLC) Work with the Solution Architect to understand the architecture direction and expand the concept into a detailed application design Ability to guide the development team with prototype code and help with debugging when necessary Review the code and deliverable being created for the overall program Assist the project manager with the technical aspects of the project plan for the entire program Assist the project manager in managing the technical risks for the overall program Musts Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience Business Experience 5 to 7 years of relevant technical or business work experience Wants Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline, or have equivalent experience Strong Interpersonal Skills – ability to work with people with a variety of skillsets 7+ years of general IT experience of which 5+ years in a Technical Lead Role 5+ years leading delivery of J2EE based systems, preferably on Websphere Platform; 2+ years experience with integrating .Net applications in a Service Oriented based architecture 2+ years using experience with Integration Projects (EAI products like WebSphere Integrator, TIBCO, Web Methods, etc.); Experience with J2EE portals Strong Unit Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and Performance & Load Testing abilities, including automated testing techniques using MAVEN, ANT, etc. Experience with development of applications to mobile platforms; Experience with telematics program preferred Strong Object Oriented Analysis and Design Skills, Web Services; Must have application design experience using UML Good understanding of the different architecture patterns and their tradeoffs Must have experience in service oriented architecture Experience with implementing and deploying solutions on Enterprise Service Bus platform Looking forward to hear from you soon!
