Our Columbus, Ohio client has a contract-to-hire opportunity available for a Citrix Administrator, who will be responsible for supporting the ongoing technology needs of all employees. They install and configure all types of personal computing devices and peripherals, as well as provide Tier III support and work with vendors to resolve Tier III issues. Additionally, they evaluate and recommend client software and hardware and write proposals for purchasing new or upgraded products. They have superior troubleshooting capabilities and outstanding customer service and support skills. Other responsibilities include deploying new technology and performing system integration testing of hardware/software upgrades. Skills and Experience: Minimum 5+ Years’ experience in Windows Server 2003/2008, Windows XP, Windows 7, SQL Server, MS Office 2003/2007/2010, and Active Directory, VDI Engineering/Architecture Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers, senior level personnel, subordinates, and team members required. Experience in Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop 7.6 and above Minimum 5+ years of experience of architecting, designing and integrating solutions in a large scale enterprise environment At least 5 years of scripting & automation experience; must be proficient in the use of PYTHON, BASH, Power Shell or Perl scripting Working knowledge of application deployment process and functional network troubleshooting Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines required.
