*Position: SQL Server Database Administrator* *Location: Irving, TX* *Duration: 6+ Months* Key Skills: *SQL DBA, SQL Developer, Cassandra* *Years of experience : 8 minimum – SQL DBA + strong SQL development; Cassandra-min 1 year* *Job description:* 1. Possess very strong SQL development background, data modelling and ER diagram 2. Perform administration of SQL Server database engine, SQL Server Service Broker, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and/or SQL Server Reporting Services. 3. Design and modify database objects (tables, schemas, indexes, and triggers), creating or altering stored procedures and views, and writing Stored Procedures. 4. Ensure system availability, data integrity, database backup and restoration procedures, monitoring server performance, disk space, and network connectivity. 5. Implement and operate SQL Server Services that includes SQL Server components running on physical stand alone and clustered servers, and Virtual Machine environments. *Minimum qualification:* Ø strong SQL development background, data modelling and ER diagram Ø Experience in SQL Server 2008/2012 database administration. Ø Demonstrated experience developing SQL Server stored procedures, triggers, and SQL. Ø Experience in performance tuning and query optimization. P*REFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:* Ø Experience in SQL Server 2014. Ø Experience with SQL Server Business Intelligence components including Reporting Services, Integration Services, and Analysis Services.
