The client is only looking for candidates in Southern California right now
(preferably San Diego).



This client is currently in a C# environment and not Java.





To get a client sub:
Leadership experience - Will be leading all automation testing efforts and
coming up with the design.
Has created automation framework from scratch. This person will be writing
automation code for new features, and existing features
Coding experience in C# - All of their development is in C#, if this person
is also diverse in Java that would be a nice to have. Must have Object
Oriented language experience. They also use C# to test at the UI level
Test UI - Experience automating test cases as the feature is being
developed at UI, as well as API level
SQL - Minimum of 3 years SQL experience - ability to write SQL queries and
update data service
ATDD, BDD or TDD - In the interview they will ask "what is driven
framework?"
Automation Framework: Minimum of 5 years automated testing experience in
(Selenium or WATIR are her preference:

*Project:*  CAC Pro

Team:  Part of the team of 5 - 3 dev, 2 QA, 3 teams on the project.



*SUMMARY:* This is a position for personal gap in automation space for CAC
Pro project. This person will be a senior engineer for automation effort
for CAC Pro on a team that does not have any automation experts, as well as
technical expert for manual testing. - The risks for not filling this
position include the team not being able to meet existing commitments for
delivering CAC Pro . The team will benefit from a senior engineer in this
role who can help lead the team and provide guidance in testing and
automation best practices. This will result in improvements to the quality
of the CAC Pro releases and our customers’ experience.

*Job Role: *
• Understand technical aspects including implementation and design of the
application under test
• Transfer software requirements to manual test cases, and automated test
cases
• Manage automation efforts for the project which entails designing the
framework, implementing the framework , and enable others to use the
framework
• Leader for rolling out automation approach to team members that have very
little experience with test automation, and coach them to become productive
• Participate in analysis of automation tools available in the industry,
and provide recommendations on which tools and approaches would be the best
for the projects while understanding ROI
• Lead automation engineer effort on the team, managing that automation
goals are met for the year by managing the schedule, milestones, and
deliverable
• Implement design of automation framework and test cases with highest
automation standards which will create reusable, easily maintainable code
base
• Analyze system under tests, report defects when found, and refactor
automation approaches when necessary
• Partner with external teams to assure automation design is adequate for
all the teams
• Partner with product owners to understand the requirements for the
software, provide design input and ability to analyze and test the
requirements

*Qualifications: *
• Leadership experience in technology or quality space
• Excellent communication skills within the team, as well as outside the
team with product management, as well as other business units
• Minimum of 5 years automated testing experience using JUnit, Nunit,
Selenium, WATIR or other automation frameworks
• Ability to write and manually execute test cases, while understanding
design, architecture and overall technical aspect of the feature
• Experience automating test cases as the feature is being developed at UI,
as well as API level
• Minimum of 3 years SQL experience

• SQL Server Management Studio experience
• Experience working with offshore teams
• HL7 and Cloverleaf experience
• Rally experience
• Agile/Scrum methodologies

*Education: *
MS preferred, will accept BS degree with work experience
