This engineer will maintain the existing infrastructure and design the next evolution. The ideal candidate will have prior build and release experience working with a rapidly growing team and will anticipate the pitfalls of current and future approaches. The build and release engineer will oversee deployments to the QA and staging environments and assist the systems team with releases to production. The candidate must have familiarity with Unix / Linux, SQL, and web applications. The candidate should be familiar with Bamboo and SVN and other alternative CI and source control systems. The candidate must be able to research, document, and lead the presentation of results to the engineering team. The candidate must be comfortable working with limited supervision and direction while driving results across teams. The candidate must have strong scripting experience and the ability to debug Java build and runtime errors.
