San Jose, CA 6+ months contract *Description:* As a Sr. Systems Administrator, you will be expected to participate in an on-call rotation and be required to resolve issues escalated from 24/7 monitoring systems and customer support. Strong experience with Windows Server and Active Directory. Strong experience with DNS, SSL, HTTP(S), SMTP, LDAP. Experience with Linux CentOS 6.x Experience with VMware ESXI 5.x Experience with snapshots, backups, and optimization. Strong documentation and communication skills. Experience troubleshooting applications at all OSI layers. Experience automating deployment of physical and virtual infrastructure. Experience with data center Operations including power distribution, racking, and cabling. Preferred Skills: Experience with PowerShell, Python, and shell/CLJ scripting Experience with automated monitoring and alerting systems of all types. Experience with Chef, Puppet, WSUS, Linux package management.
