*Job Description:*
Our customer in Germantown, MD is looking to add a Network Engineer for a
six month project. The candidate will implement systems improvements
within thier NOC Network Infrastructure. He/She will generate/provide
status reports, provide network anomoly analysis, works engineering
changes/upgrades, and security vulnerabilities. He/She will implement
VOIP, gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Terminal Servers, NTP Servers and
Routing Protocols. He/She will identify, test, develop, and implement new
networking technologies. The candidate will support switch and router
hardware/software in an enterprise network environment.
*Must Haves:*
- Bachelors Degree
- Computer Engineering, Computer Networking, and Computer Science are
the preferred degrees
- 4-8 years of Network Engineering or NOC experience
- Strong experience with Routers & Switches (Cisco)
- Firewall experience (Fortinet)
- BGP
- EIGRP
- MPLS
*Nice to Haves:*
- Masters Degree
- Satellite Network Experience (VSAT based network)
- VSAT - Vxworks based HN700
- PEP
- Aloha
- Stream
- VRRP
- FAC
- IPsec
