Responsibilities / Qualifications: · Bachelor degree is desired but not required · VMware Certified Professional and MCP are desired but not required · Minimum of 6-8 years of experience working with VMware servers in a production environment. · Install, configure and manage VMware vSphere and ESX Environments. · Configure VMware Distributed Resource Scheduling, High Availability and Fault Tolerance. · Install, configure and manage VMware ESX hosts, App-V · Understanding of Storage Architecture · Understanding of security best practices for multi-tiered operating systems. · Advanced VMware ESX/ESXi and created and managed VMs (virtual server) and also involved in the maintenance of the virtual server. · Technical written and verbal communication skills (technical writing) · Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment. · Worked on vCenter Server 5.x or higher for managing multiple ESXi Servers. · Build and troubleshooting experience with ESX Servers and ESXi · Servers, vSphere and vCenter manager. · Extensive understanding of networking concepts, (IE. REQUIREMENT DETAILS:* *Position: .Net with strong SQL Exp* *Location: LIVINGSTON, NJ* *Duration: 6 MONTHS +* *Interview: PHONE & In-person* *Rate: $50-55/hr* The .Net Developer will be the technical point of contact for the development and deployment of several applications. Activities will span a variety of technical areas including application development, configuration & support. This role will require flexibility, communication and coordination skills as well as a strong financial & technical acumen. The candidate will be required to: - Serve as the technical resource for projects; including reporting progress and status to the development and project manager - Design and code to create functionally complex but user friendly web based applications - Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation - Create technical specifications and test plans - Identify, design and implement any required data extracts, loads, reports, etc. - Coordinate with external platform vendor to install software and patches, and to resolve technical/performance issues, as necessary - Coordinate between internal technical teams such as Windows, Web Services, Database, Mid-Tier, for infrastructure set up and integration testing tasks and ensure all tasks are tracked to completion - Learn application configuration capabilities and set up initial configurations as necessary to support platform implementation and user acceptance testing - Fill out any needed documentation for elevation of code to UAT and Production environments - Work with business partners to define data needs for user acceptance testing - Follow project management and SDLC disciplines to insure structured and effective implementation - Identify and document production support requirements and operational procedures for on-going maintenance of the platform *Required Skills and Experience* - Undergraduate degree required.
