Must Have Skills

• Expert knowledge of three or more of the following technologies:
Directory Services, Authentication/Authorization(ODSEE), Access
Provisioning(OIM), Access Review, Single Sign On(OAM), and Federation(Ping).
• The candidate must have hands-on experience developing and deploying
large-scale enterprise Identity & Access Management solutions. Ability to
articulate complex technical issues with both technicians and clients
• Ability to compose and present material to communicate difficult concepts
and gain consensus. Ability to communicate complex technical terminology,
concepts and issues to technical and non-technical staff
• Knowledge of applicable SOX audit controls and applicability to IAM
services architecture, design, and processes*.*

Tell me about your department:

Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions leverage Client's IAM
Methods to help clients control which employees, customers, partners and
suppliers access sensitive corporate resources, and streamline the process
of managing the explosion in "digital identities.” Client uses Oracle IDM
products like OIM, OAM, OUD and ODSEE.

Project Description:

The project is to upgrade the Oracle IDAM components like Oracle Access
Manager from 11gR2PS2 to 11gR2PS3 and Oracle Identity Manager from 11g to
11gR2PS3, as part of the project, OAM and OIM will be deployed in Multi
Data Center architecture.The architect will have the ability to work across
different IAM technologies and will be laying out the IAM roadmap for Client
*.*

Responsibilities/Deliverables

• The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Architect is accountable and
responsible for the business to technical requirements alignment, technical
design as per requirements, architecture and evolution of IAM services. IAM
services include, but not limited to, authentication and authorization,
session management, access requests, access provisioning, access
reauthorization, remote access, IAM services API, role and entitlement
models, and directory technologies. The IAM Architect will work with other
Architects and Product Managers to create a roadmap that meets strategic
and current requirements.
• The role responsibilities also include technical design/specification
documentation, code development, testing, and implementation and limited
support.

What would a normal day for this position look like??

• Specifying guidelines and supporting processes for integration,
administration and maintenance. Interaction with application teams that
manage major user repositories and/or need to automate/standardize user
access request process, to gather requirements, design and deliver solution
to integrate with the existing IDM implementation
• Gather requirements and Guide / recommend the right integration pattern
for applications needing services, taking into consideration the impact to
the environment and standards currently set in. Support as required,
establishing urgency of the problem and owning the problem through
resolution.
• Performs maintenance review of identity management system functions
Create and maintain documentation for security related activities and
metric reporting.
• Advocate secure computing practices and procedures, and communicate
Information Security best practices throughout the company.
