*LOCALs/ Nearby Consultants only please...* *Role: Sr. SCCM Engineer* Duration: 6 months+ Location: NYC, NY *Telephonic + In-person interview is required* Keys to the role that he is looking for: - Tier 4 position - Excellence in SCCM - At least 3 years of enterprise level patching and managing servers using SCCM - Senior Troubleshooting escalated issues – windows server, interaction with vmware (administer at medium level), UCS hardware (navigate h/w environment) – some familiarity with AD / Group policy – citrix component (really nice to have) - Communication is huge part – interfaces with high level executive n business people - Enterprise level – supporting 1000,s servers (managing, patching) - Familiar with Fortune 100-500 level change management – in production environment (change, incident, task ticket) Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field • 10+ years of progressive professional experience. Preferably having depth of IT experience that includes operations, engineering, and architecture services in large scale enterprises. o Excellent Operational and Engineering experience across distributed technologies with proven delivery of desktop and server solutions o Highly attuned customer service experience applied to service design and implementation o Strong product and solution knowledge with a proven ability to drive technology and culture change o Excellent knowledge of ITIL and service based delivery models with 7x24x365 operations o Demonstrated ability to deliver key enterprise projects • 5+ years of experience providing infrastructure operational engineering services for MS SCCM solutions in a large enterprise server environment o Excellent record for designing, documenting, implementing, and troubleshooting complex large-scale service environments with cross data center footprints o In-depth hands-on knowledge Microsoft's SCCM platform, including Current Branch, and Active Directory o Hardware / software experience with VMware, Citrix, VCE (vBlock), EMC, NetApp, Cisco, Microsoft, and other leading industry vendors o Excellent knowledge of systems management and monitoring platforms (ServiceNow, HPOM, Splunk, NetCool, AppDynamics, Aternity) o Strong programming & scripting experience in X86 based Environments o Experience with public and hybrid cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Softlayer, vCloud Air) and associated reference architectures o Demonstrated knowledge of Network & Security technologies o Proven knowledge of scripting languages • Advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills that enable the individual to create alignment around objectives and drive personal accountability across the delivery teams • Demonstrated ability to be an assertive, charismatic, energetic and results-driven individual that work effectively across all organizations within the company • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural and proven ability to collaborate deeply with others. Must have the ability to form strong connections with peers, senior leadership, and subordinates • Vendor management experience including creation of statements of work, contract negotiations, price negotiations • Strong commitment to operational excellence and a well-grounded understanding of continuous process improvement.
