*Role:* *ETL Informatica* *Location: Coppell TX* *Duration: 6 months* *Summary: * The Senior Informatica Developer will design, develop, implement and support enterprise initiatives around data integration and building a data and reporting infrastructure. This position is primarily responsible for data analysis, developing and maintaining Informatica ETL processes along with a rotational on-call production support responsibilities. The role will work to consolidate disparate data sources through implementation of an efficient and optimized ETL strategy. The position will also support in shaping and enhancing the overall ETL/Informatica architecture while adhering to ETL standards and guidelines during development. Based on requirements, they will scope the size of the effort needed to perform impact assessments. This position works closely with BI developers, architects, and functional teams and the role will have the opportunity to assist with and validate the solution design and the production of all design phase deliverables. Additionally, the senior role will act as a team leader on highly visible enterprise projects. The role will also work with technical staff to develop resolutions to problems, while assisting in developing the junior team members. *ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Review and analyze ETL requirements, create design documents based on business requirement and functional requirement documents · Design and develop Informatica processes using variety of transformations (XML, Web Services and UDT etc...) · Design and develop ETL processes using Informatica to read\write complex XML, HL7 and EDI X12(810,832,835,850,855,856 etc…) formats · Create automated reusable processes to profile data using IDE (Informatica Data Explorer) to resolve inconsistencies in data and help Data Analysts document the findings · Build metrics and rules to standardize the data while loading data into target environments and develop exceptions\alerting mechanisms to alert Data Stewards · Troubleshoot, optimize and tune ETL processes and provide guidance to other junior members · Create, execute and document unit test plans based on system and validation requirements · Maintain existing code, support QA operations and fix bugs when needed · Ensure that all data intensive processes are optimally distributed across the layers of the overall target system to achieve maximum throughput · Establishes and enforces data warehousing standards to meet IT requirements and business needs · Evaluates existing subject areas stored in the ODS\EDW and collaborates with the architects on best practices · Working with various IT teams to analyze data in the data warehouse, data mart or operational systems as needed · Train and mentor other junior ETL developers on team, Lead Code Review sessions · Provide off hour production support, as needed *Required Skills:* · 8+ years of experience on a data warehouse team with strong understanding of ETL processes and standards(Experience in implementing Informatica solutions using PowerCenter, PowerExchange CDC, IDE\IDQ and B2B DT Studio) · 5+ years of Informatica B2B DT Studio experience with parsing unstructured healthcare data standards including X12/EDI formats and HL7 · 5+ years of experience in working with Data Quality Management tools (IDQ preferred) and PowerExchange CDC (with Oracle platform preferred) · 5 + years of experience with Oracle\SQL Server development including high level of expertise in SQL, stored procedures, indexes, partitioning and database tuning. · 4+ years of UNIX shell or PERL scripting experience · Proactively engages team members in problem solving · Strong written and verbal communication skills, regularly and effectively with team members · College diploma or university degree in Information Systems or equivalent work experience *Preferred Skills:* · Knowledge of dimensional modelling and reporting tool stack(Tableau and\or Cognos) · Experience with troubleshooting and performance tuning in various database platforms - SQL Server, Netezza and Oracle · Experience with scheduling/automation concepts, processes, and tools – ActiveBatch, Tidal etc...
