Demonstrated experience installing and configuring computer and network hardware in a data center computing environment. Knowledge of system and network security best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people both verbally and in writing. Skill in writing concise, understandable, technical documentation. Ability to design, write, test and debug computer programs, command language scripts and application control files; experience in same. A working knowledge of high-level programming or scripting languages, especially PowerShell and ServiceNow Javascript. A working knowledge of database design, use and query languages, especially the ServiceNow CMDB. A working knowledge of VMware and/or Amazon Web Services. Knowledge of current system administration best practices.
