Role
Bigdata Architect with specialization in DataLake and Analytics / BI
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills
• *12+ years of experience in the Data warehouse technologies with
specialization in creating DataLake on Cloud*
• *5+ years of experience with Big Data Hadoop Architecture *with a
minimum of 3 Years experience in building End To End Platform using Hadoop
Eco System. *The candidate must have experience in building Analytics /
Business Intelligence solutions using Data Lake*.
• 3+ years of experience in leading and mentoring team at Architect level
• Extensive Solutioning and implementation skills using AWS EMR platform
involving Hive and Spark based solutions with:
• Processing Streaming inputs / Importing data in to HDFS from
Heterogeneous technologies
• Capacity Planning for Hadoop Clusters
• Processing Unstructured Data with Structured data in a SLA driven
environment
• Expertise in Hadoop Monitoring and Performance tuning activities
• Knowledge of E2E Hadoop echo system
• Hands on wrt development and admin
• Knowledge of Data Lakes, Processing with Graph DBs and Scala will be a
plus
• Experience in working in Agile development methodology projects
• Technical team management experience including offshore team members
• Excellent personal communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Roles and responsibility
1. Responsible for Architecture, Design and Implementation of DataLake in
Cloud platform and building Analytics solution on top of it.
2. Should Lead the Technical Requirements and Architecture discussions and
provide the Design for implementation by Dev team.
3. Should be Hands-on and write code using Hive, SQL or Spark based on the
needs
4. Provide Solution to meet the massive data consumption requirements on
Data Lake
5. Guide onshore and offshore teams to ensure standards are met
6. Work with the application development teams throughout the development
life cycle
7. Ability to take initiative and ownership on tasks
8. Explain complex design items through documents and white-board sessions
with Customer

Hadoop, HDFS, Spark SQL, Scala, Business Intelligence tools, AWS EMR,
Redshift, Hive
