*Job Details:*

Implement requirements and prototypes in Node.js, Javascript and other
development languages

Maintain website by addressing and fixing site issues and defects

Ensure code quality with unit tests by using test-driven development

Provide feedback through code reviews and peer programming techniques

Document code implementation within the codebase and on the wiki

When tools, automation, or innovative functionality is needed, researches
and develops latest technologies

Interact with product and project managers to understand requirements that
will be implemented

Collaborate with search, mobile and other engineering teams to design and
implement consumer features

Work together with team members to plan, break-down and implement
functional tasks



*Candidate Requirements*:

Bachelor in Computer Science and 3-5 years' combined web development
experience, preferably using Node.js or Javascript; OR Masters in Computer
Science and 1-2 years' combined web development experience, preferably
using Node.js or JavaScript

Web development experience (professional and/or academic) using any of
these technologies: Java, Python, Perl or Ruby

Experience with Jade and Less is a plus

Node.js experience is highly desired

At the very least, candidate should have strong desire and aptitude to work
with Node

Experience developing web sites utilizing lightweight web services is a plus

Experience developing web for mobile devices is a plus

We're looking for an experienced front-end developer to join our team. We
are laser focused on delivering groundbreaking mobile-first consumer web
applications for healthcare. If you join our team not only will you
engineer state of the art web and mobile technology you will be part of the
product design and definition process.

We’re looking for a front-end web technology expert to work with us on
revamping our consumer health care web applications. We support millions of
users, we have an active user base and we are embarking on a project to
refresh our front end architecture, improve usability and implement a new
responsive + mobile first web design. This candidate should be passionate
about these web technologies in addition to user experience. Experience
with .NET technologies, agile teams or health care is a plus.
