Role Webmethods Administrator Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills • 3-5 years of Administration of WebMethods experience • WebMethods, SQL and UNIX Roles and responsibility - Ensure smooth functioning of Integration Server, WebMethods Broker, Trading Networks, BPM, and MWS. - Experience with WebMethods installations, upgrade, and deployment of Serves. - Experience with WebMethods server configurations including setting of basic operating parameters such as the maximum session limits, log file options, and port assignments. - Administering users and groups e.g. defining user names and passwords for authorized users and assigning them to groups. - Administering server security, which includes identifying other administrators, assigning access controls to individual services, and configuring the server's use of digital certificates. - Managing packages and services, which includes tasks such as activating/ deactivating/ copying packages and updating services and/or packages as necessary. - Administering multiple instances of the server, which includes performing all or some of the activities listed above to manage two or more Integration Servers running on the Header same machine. - Experience in Handling and maintenance activity in rebooting of servers. - Experience in implementing WebMethods best practices for Deployments, System configuration, capacity planning, infrastructure architecture, fail-over, backup and recovery, scalability, and security. Desirable Technical / Functional Skills - Coordinating with offshore team and leveraging WebMethods with customer satisfaction. - Strong emphasis on business understanding with reference to WebMethods/ upcoming technologies in WebMethods. - Good working Experience with global teams. - Good understanding of application support processes. - Good understanding of Retail industry.
