The Food Marketing Institute (FMI) is a trade association of retail grocery
chains that has made it known it is a major stakeholder in U.S. metrication.
Since learning of FMI, I have been a subscriber to its e-mail list. The more I
read it, the more I am impressed with its forward-thinking
