Back to the question. Suppose you're writing a program to keep track of fuel consumption and odometer readings of a car. Would you store the odometer readings -in whichever unit they are entered in? -always in kilometers? -always in meters? And the fuel consumption, would you store it in the unit it's entered in, in liters, or in cubic meters?
