Thank you very much, Marcus! But your fosphor RFNoC block does show data in dBm. Can you please explain how is that done? Is there a reference I can look at regarding the calibration of the USRP and converting to dBm? Thanks again for other clarifications. Best regards, Siraj

Hello All, I have posted several questions previously trying to understand something but it only got me more confused. So let me put this straight. 1- I am trying to read the output of the Log Power RFNoC block *in dBm*. 2- I want to write a CE that compares these samples against a threshold

Altug, If you are using Visual Studio, the easiest thing to do is to create a new C++ Win32 Console project (or whatever project you need). From there you can add code files, write new ones or do whatever you need to do. At this point if the code compiles you will get an executable output. You

Hi Marcus, I tried axi_wrapper in both SIMPLE_MODE and advanced. When not in SIMPLE_MODE, I setup s_axis_data_tuser like this: wire [63:0] vita_time; wire has_time; wire eob; wire [1:0] pkt_type; wire [15:0] length_adj; assign has_time = m_axis_data_tuser[125]; assign eob =

What is your RX gain setting? Does the unwanted carrier remain when you stop transmitting? What happens if you use offset tuning of about 1/2 your bandwidth? Also, yes, it's better if your master clock rate is at least double your sample rate, but of course, that's not always possible. On

Sounds like the header might have not been adapted 100% correctly. Check whether your noc shell has the right fields set. Cheers, Marcus On 10 July 2017 7:03:57 PM GMT+02:00, Jason Matusiak via USRP-users wrote: >I am splitting one of my RFNoC blocks into two

I am splitting one of my RFNoC blocks into two different ones, and one of them is giving me issues. The block is essentially a keep m in n block, so I only spit out data once in a while. This worked fine when combined with my other block, but now when I run it independently, it is throwing

Hello - I am using two USRP E310s with on transmitting and one receiving. I had one USRP transmit a CW tone at 4.2 GHz and had the other USRP receive at 4.205 GHz. For some reason, I see two peaks, one at the expected frequency (5 MHz offset from center) and one at center frequency.

Dear Boris, that's defined by how much of your CPU is used by the TX flowgraph, and where you get your data from that you transmit. Generally, 2MHz should definitely work, if you just generate a constant data stream. Best regards, Marcus On 07/10/2017 11:38 AM, Boris Isakanov via USRP-users
