Just my 2cents, but I think that sometimes running at a higher ADC sample rate and then digitally filtering may be desirable. I can't say anything specifically about this example with the E312 because I'm not familiar with the pre-selection filters and the analog filters in the AD9361, but a higher

Hi Mark, If you look at gr-filerepeater (https://github.com/ghostop14/gr-filerepeater or from pybombs), I just recently added an advanced file sink to the module. One thing it has is a message port that you can pass a state key in the metadata to (1 to record, 0 to stop). The block will also a

[USRP-users] USB 3.0 PCI express card recommendations?

Hi, I'd like to use a high sample rate with a B210 device but I'm limited by my host computer, as it has only USB 2.0 interfaces. The cheapest solution would be to install a USB 3.0 PCI express card, but I found some old thread (2013) where an user experienced some problems (thread link

I've seen this a few times, but I cannot seem to lock it down to any particular reason. While sitting at my desk with a GPS simulator (so I have a known good signal), I will be doing testing and everything is fine (it seems to be walking around the place where the unit was built). I will turn

I guess I would need a block to count samples if I am going to a null sink? Otherwise I am not sure how to guage how many samples have passed. Well, this is probably ignorant of me, but I assumed a higher master clock rate would allow me some sort of speed benefit somewhere. I guess I can't sa

I had a similar problem where I wanted to measure the phase and magnitude stability of a system over long periods of time, but only needed small chunks of data to characterize the drift. I solved this by creating a top block that uses the head block and a file sink to write a defined number of
