The X310 can operate over three protocols: 1Gb Ethernet, 10Gb Ethernet, or
PCIe. The only way I could see USB coming into play would be with something
like a USB to RJ45 adapter to connect to your host. In this case, the X310
and UHD would not be aware of the fact that USB is in use --

If you remove the switch, does the USRP operate as expected?
What model switch are you using? Does it reorder UDP packets?
We generally recommend to avoid using switches, or if one is used, ensure
it does not reorder packets.

X310 does not support coherent TX+RX on 4 channels, which is also a requirement.
