Many an R1 has been embarrassed by my lumbering, wallowing '99 Max in full flight behind their bony little arses through some pretty tight corners. Owning an R1 does not make you a Mick Doohan. Be careful "young man", never underestimate the bike, its the rider who decides who will win in battle.

Chris, I don't know of anyone that uses a Michelin. If it will fit I don't know. The reason I like the 880 it doesn't change in a transition, gets alot more miles under alot of abuse, and sticks as well as the 591. You've got a R1? Then you know the suspension fix. About the only other thing wold
