Hi all out there,
I have a quick question that will tell me how well my A/S is insulated.
With my nearly new furnace (35K BTU I think), I can maintain a 45-50F
temperature inside above what it is outside.
Some call it the temperature differential.
Mine is a 1973 31' International.
Thanks to all!
Anyone needing windows, segments or other parts let me know.

The Dometic Frig in my '74 International won't operate below 20 degrees F. The gas won't stay on after I release the pilot light knob. The electric function doesn't work at those temperatures either. It works fine above 20 degrees, though. The '73 Overlander that I had last year worked great at
Sorry, I stand corrected.

An alternative would be to use a non-toxic stripper
and a high pressure sprayer - let the stripper sit,
spray off, and repeat. Bob's right - might be likely
that an acid etcher was used, which could have
tremendous effects on the "clad" portion of the
aluminum - (read: it might be gone) which

What probably works for these kind of situations is to list the part(s) in the "Parts"
section of the free VAC Classifieds and then create a one-time posting to the List to
go over and check them out.
I think everyone wants to know
Toby,
This fellow Airstream owner/enthusiast wants to join in all of the great
information that many of you have created for the benefit of the rest of us.
Rather than waste his time trying to help him myself, and possibly give him
incorrect information, would you be kind enough to contact him
Hi everybody - thought I'd send out a simple reminder
about list guidelines -
Funny I never saw such a specific guideline (about parts listings) when I
signed up for this list. If you make these up as you go along I suggest
you republish from time to time to keep us up to date.

I can't remember who the kind person was who sent me the very valuable list
of sources for information, parts, service, etc. Would that person also
send that list to Mr. Greene?
=
If you have it why don't you just send it to him?
Roy
