Just after I updated my vbox from 1.5.6 to 1.6. xp guest was fine.
Later I remembered that the addition had not been updated. So I
uninstall the old one and install the new one in guest. Then the

You mean dump of xp guest? There is no. Because it was the VM
software that crashed, to the guest, it was just like a power lost.

I try to install VirtualBox 1.6 on Windows XP (SP 2).
I run the VirtualBox-1.6.0-Win_x86.msi , accept the license, select the
USB and Networking support, click the Install button, the installation
begins, the installation status says Copying new files after a while

Interestingly, it does not crash with VirtualBox (interface). Only
VBoxHeadless (interface).
