How can I make vpopmail execute the program AND deliver to the mailbox:

Hello... I'm stumbed... again...
With just qmail, I can pipe (via .qmail file) to a perl script. Within
that perl script, I can do @MESSAGE = STDIN; (for the perl
illiterate, this stores the message/headers in the arrary MESSAGE,
which with just qmail comes from standard in) ... this doesn't
Yuri,
Edit the .qmail-default file for all mail to a domain. Also, if you
want an individuals' email to go to 2 or more addresses, make a .qmail
for their directory (not in the Maildir, just inside their directory).
One email address per line. Good luck.

Michael,
I'm here from Asheville too, so I thought I'd lend a hand. ;) You can
just put the email address in badmailfrom, then hup qmail-send. It'll
reject mail from just that user then. Good luck!

Make sure you copy /var/qmail/users/* too.

Daniel,
Something I would check would be the script you call qmail with. If you
were using standalone qmail before, you might have it using something
other than vhckpw for the password authentication. *shrug* Just a
thought.

Bill and Richard,
Try putting system quotas on the /home directories per user -- do a web search on
quota howto. This is always worked for me. You should be able to find it easily.

Trine,
Do you run tcpserver? If so, the clients IP address probably isn't in the

Franco,
Do a netstat -nap | grep LISTEN to see if the port's already bound. You
might have pop or smtp bound already through inet or another service. (edit
/etc/inetd.conf if you have it running through inet).
Hope this helps
