I have tried adding the domain(eg example.com via vqadmin), adding an
smtproutes entry, then creating an .qmail-default:

But the message fails (loops):

The only way I can see to do it is to set up a dummy sub-domain and
forward the mail to that sub-domain...
ie - domain.com mx = your server, mail2.domain.com mx = real server
