What you know...that is the main source of problems. For some reason...the
entire UserID have been changed to someone else which is not exactly
possible...but since I fixed it... it worked!
Thanks.

Hi,
I've got vpopmail 4.8a installed, and a virtual domain happily installed
and working.
However, I now want to modify the .qmail-default file for this virtual
domain (say normal.server.com) so that mail that is directed to an
unknown virtual user gets delivered to another mail server
(newmail.
Check the uid and gid in /var/qmail/users/assign to see
if they match the vpopmail/vchkpw uid/gid. That can
cause a problem.

could someone pretty please switch my mail address on these lists from
postmaster@qmail to jscott@qmail? Thanks!
Jacob
I sent a patch to Ken a while back that implemented this in vpopmail 3.4.11. It
doesn't really do any 'detection' of new users in the database, it simply creates
the maildir for the user if it doesn't exist. IE: I have 2 patches, one for
vchkpw and vdelivermail. The vdelivermail patch, for exa
Hello.
I got a major problem here. I just recently upgraded the Qmailadmin and
Vpopmail to the latest releases and the server have stopped delivering the
emails to the directories that is setup under vpopmail.
The thing is... after verifying all the permissions and settings, it

No, not true.
I run /etc/tcprules.d/ as my tcprules directory and chown'd it to

Try compiling courier-imap with this configure line:
./configure --without-authuserdb --without-authpam \

I got a major problem here.
I upgraded the Vpopmail and the Qmailadmin to the latest versions which is
the vpopmail-4.8.5 and Qmailadmin 0.32. Now...the problem is this. It
stopped working, preventing the delivery of the emails to the respective
