After upgrading to the latest version of Vpopmail, I receive the following
error messages:
tcprules: fatal: unable to move /home/vpopmail/etc/open-smtp.tmp.21096 to
/etc/tcp.smtp.cdb: cross-device link
Why does this error message appear and how can I fix the problem?

Hi,
I am using vpopmail 4.9 using mysql authentication and want to set quota for
all users inside a virtual domain.
However, when I use the command

And, I adding virtual domain and virtual user.
In vpopmail table of MySQL, each user's pw_shell column setted '1000'.
But, hard-quota isn't action.

Just out of curiosity, why do you suggest this instead of having all virtual

which ~vpopmail/etc but the problem still there. I still have to update
tcp.smtp manually in order to use that server for smtp server.

Hi,
This will sound stupid but I have to ask.
In the 'vpopmail Adminstration Guide' by Ken Jones, there is a line saying
'We recommend that all domains be setup as virtualdomains.'
I tried to do as recommended but I'm at a loss.
Say for example, my server is 'myserver.mydomain.com'. I know th

You will probably want to replace "/etc/tcp.smtp.cdb" in
your tcpserver startup line and have it point to the one
in your ~vpopmail/etc directory. That worked for me.

Check the for the location of your libmysqlclient.a file. And put
-L/path/to/mysql/libs/dir in your LDFLAGS. Looks like your
libmysqlclient.a
is not in /usr/local/mysql/lib directory.

Hi,
I've seen this problem in the mailing list archives, however it would
appear that the solution was sent directly to the poster, because I
didn't see the details of the answer.
I'm having a problem with mysql as I do a make on the sqwebmail build.
/usr/local/src/qmail/vpopmail-4.9.5/vauth.c:
Hello people,
I'm still fighting with maildrop to make it work with qmail+vpopmail.
Anyone with a perfect solution?
:o)
Should I change to the new filtering capabilities of vdelivermail? I
would like to make it work with the filter interface in sqwebmail.
