okay, i tried that but still no go. What i dont understand is that the smtp
server im sending through here at work should at least send me a message if
it can not send the message to my box. And my box should send me a message
if it has a problem with the e-mail. I dont get anything at all. and i can
send e-mail from my box fine. thats no problem. I just am lost here.

Hi,
What I was saying is that after adding domains to rcpthosts (or
morercpthosts) you need to hup qmail-send so that it re-reads those files.

if you are saying i need to kill qmail-send. okay, i tried killall and it
did not kill it. i killed it with -9 and it restarted again a couple of
seconds later. durring that time i sent 2 more messages to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and they are not showing up in the log
(/var/log/qmail/current) and i didnt recieve them or get any bounced
messages.

I did actually read the errors and noticed it said it couldnt find the
domain in the locals file. I do have neg9.netnitco.net and
neg0.netnitco.net
setup as virt domains in vpopmail so it should treat it as a virt
domain.
i
dont think it is though. it seems like it recieves the message, and
doesnt
know where to put it, and then just gives up. I did also notice that it
says
uid 500 for one and 510 for the other. I have checked and rechecked the
vpopmail and vchkpw uid and gid and they are all set to 89. i dont know
where it is getting that uid of 500 and 510. Any information you guys
can
give me would
