Re: [vchkpw] [OT?] Courier-imap compile without pop3d
* Boris Pavlov [EMAIL PROTECTED] [2004-06-18 17:38]: courier-imap is w/o pop3, the whole courier is smtp+(s)pop3/imap(s)/sqwebmail package. That is not true. From http://www.inter7.com/index.php?page=courierimap quote A compatible POP3 server is also included in the Courier-IMAP package, that uses the same authentication modules. The POP3 server can only access the INBOX, and cannot access any folders. /quote Alex Pleiner -- Alex Pleiner zeitform Internet Dienste OHG Fraunhoferstr. 5 64283 Darmstadt, Germany http://www.zeitform.deTel.: +49 (0)6151 155-635 mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]Fax: +49 (0)6151 155-634 GnuPG/PGP Key-ID: 0x613C21EA

I dont know if this is the right list to ask.. But is it possible to compile courier-imap without support for tls, ssl and pop3? I just need it to interface with Squirrelmail on the local machine.. thanks in advance, --Jw.

courier-imap is w/o pop3, the whole courier is smtp+(s)pop3/imap(s)/sqwebmail package. wwell edi PS anyway, you can simply not start any courier's service you don't use (ssl imap in your case) Jean Wainer wrote: I dont know if this is the right list to ask..
