[vchkpw] vpasswd and umask problem.

hi: i am using vpopmail 5.4.30 with cdb module. I tried to use vpasswd program to change password, like: vpasswd a...@example.com 12345 then I found the permission of vpasswd password file become 0666. (it was 0600). I need to set umask 077 before using vpasswd program to change

Greetings, I had vpopmail running with cdb, and i have accidently deleted a file /home/vpopmail/domains/domain.com/vpasswd (not vpasswd.cdb). Can anyone help me how to recover this file. Thanks in advance

Make sure you are running the vpopmail vpasswd program. I've seen systems where both vpopmail and vmailmgr were installed. Both packages have vpasswd programs. Hrm...that looks to be the case... How do I differentiate b/n vpopmail vmailmgr vpasswd commands? -Charles
