Using the chkusr patch is probably your best option.

Another option if all of your mxers are running qmail/vpopmail is to use
chkuser, but to protect yourself from the intermittent false negatives it
may give, set it's error string to return a temp failure (ie: 450 instead
of 550). It's a bit cruel on the sender, but considering the bulk of what
it's catching is dictionary spam attacks you might take the risk of
pushing the queue load off to the sender. :)

 Hello,

I use to do catchall for my domain but I had to many spam...

I deleted the catchall and set to bounce but now my queue is filling up
with junk because can't bounce to fake senders...

Is there a settings to avoid this ??

Or should I change bounce to delete ??

 Thanks,

Ahhh!

Not only that, but if your MySQL replication gets out of sync, you won't
give out permanent errors for new(er) users.

Re: [vchkpw] Queue not delivered

2003-07-06 Thread DOODS
What does your log show? What can't be delivered? The local or
remote mails?

Warm Regards,
DOODS

 Hi

I'm having a problem since today: queue is not delivered. At
 this moment I
have 2800 messages in queue and 1500 in queue but not
 processed.

I restarted qmail, even the box and nothing solves that.

Any sugestions while my disk have free space ? :/

Check to see if qmail-send is running. If it is, check to see if your queue
is corrupted. One way you can determine this is by checking your logs to see
if it contains messages such as unable to stat If you see those
messages look into how to fix a corrupted queue at www.qmail.org.
