I've installed SPAMCONTROL and i've modified the tcp.smtp file like you

but now nobody can send me e-mail
the sender receive the message:

Well, it's maybe not the most comfortable way, but for me it works just
fine on FreeBSD 5.2.1:
Just add --enable-auth-module=ldap to the CONFIGURE_ARGS= of
/usr/ports/mail/vpopmail/Makefile
Give it a try
