If your trying to apply the Matt Simerson on a stock redhat/other rpm based systems you will run into a small problem wrt to the location of the mysql libraries if you use the distros included mysql RPMs.
The patch can be found at http://atl.tnpi.biz/internet/mail/toaster/patches/ucspi-tcp-0.88-mysql%2 Brss.patch D/L and save the patch in a file like vpopmail.patch then run the following simple command line perl -pi -e 's/\/usr\/local\//\/usr\//g' vpopmail.patch Even on moderately loaded vpopmail systems, this patch is extremely valuable.
