[vchkpw] autorespond problem

2005-01-07 Thread Bulent

Hello

I use vpopmail5.4.6 and qmailadmin1.2 on
qmail-1.03
Alsoautorespondhas beeninstalled
and it's location in /usr/local/bin/autorespond
permission right ofautorespond as
below
ls -l
/usr/local/bin/autorespond-rwxr-xr-x 1 vpopmail vchkpw
11424 Jan 6 09:52 /usr/local/bin/autorespond

the intallations features of qmailadmin
as following;

qmailadmin
1.2.0
Current
settings---
cgi-bin dir =
/usr/local/www/cgi-bin
html dir =
/var/qmail/www/data image
dir =
/var/qmail/www/data/images/qmailadmin
image URL = ""> template dir =
/var/qmail/www/data qmail
dir = /var/qmail vpopmail dir =
/var/qmail/vpopmail autorespond dir =
/usr/local/bin ezmlm dir =
/usr/local/bin ezmlm idx =
yes mysql for ezmlm =
no
help = no modify quota = no
domain autofill = no

But I have a problem. I 'm able to make a new
auto-responder with qmailadmin. no problem. for example I made [EMAIL PROTECTED]
and I have a mailadress that user@domain.net
I have another emailadress that [EMAIL PROTECTED]. it works
well.
But When I send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Icouldn't get the email
from[EMAIL PROTECTED]
I got email from [EMAIL PROTECTED]to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
That is, [EMAIL PROTECTED] doesn't able to send
email

What shall I do ?

Thanks

[vchkpw] Autorespond problem AUTORESPOND:_too_many_received_from_

2003-07-29 Thread Ross Davis - DataAnywhere.net
I am getting this message in my logs and mail from some users is not
being delivered to the user with the autoresponder turned on.
... AUTORESPOND:_too_many_received_from_...

We had to disable the autoresponder and then reenable it again in order
to get the mail to go through. Anyone have anything to add to this. Is
there a setting that I should be increasing?

Yes, recompile autorespond, and modify the source, as per the Notes
section of the README file. For some reason, the default behavior is to
have the mail stop being delivered once the maximum count is reached, which
strikes me as quite simply bizarre. I can't think of a good reason to do
that, but hey, the software's free so who can argue.
