[vchkpw] ezmlm + vpopmail + qmailadmin
Quick questions: Which version of ezmlm should I be using? ezmlm 0.53, ezmlm-idx 0.44, ezmlm-idx 5.1.2, or something else? Does ezmlm need to be installed before either vpopmail or qmailadmin? I.E. Do I need to recompile/reinstall either after ezmlm? Thx. !DSPAM:4808e911120505998911410!

Yes. It won't affect anything. --- Brad Dameron Network Account Executive TSCNet Inc. www.tscnet.com Silverdale, WA. 1-888-8TSCNET > -Original Message- > From: me [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Monday, December 02, 2002 12:53 PM > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: [vchkpw] ezmlm+vpopmail > > > I can install again vpopmail whitout lost informations? RE: [vchkpw] ezmlm+vpopmail
This is a problem with vpopmail. Get the latest at http://www.shupp.org and set --enable-qmail-ext=n during the configure. The previous version's of vpopmail didn't handle the qmail extensions correctly. So [EMAIL PROTECTED] wouldn't be forwarded to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with subscribe as the additional parameter. --- Brad Dameron Network Account Executive TSCNet Inc. www.tscnet.com Silverdale, WA. 1-888-8TSCNET > -Original Message- > From: Johan Almqvist [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Sunday, December 01, 2002 10:31 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: [vchkpw] ezmlm+vpopmail > > > * me <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [021201 19:26]: > > # cat inlocal > > ciumilatu > > #cat inhost > > away.it > > # cat outlocal > > ciumilatu > > # cat outhost > > away.it > > > _complete_ logs from qmail for this message and delivery. > > info msg 4620364: bytes 662 from <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> qp 7239 uid 64011 > > starting delivery 93: msg 4620364 to local > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > status: local 1/10 remote 0/20 > > delivery 93: failure: > > ezmlm-manage:_fatal:_I_do_not_accept_messages_at_this_address_(#5.1.1)/ > > put "away.it-ciumilatu" into the file > home/vpopmail/domains/mydomain/mylist/inlocal (replace the current > contents) and see if your problem goes away. ezmlm seems to have problems > with virtual domains sometimes. > > Does anyone know _why_ this happens? > > -Johan > -- > Johan Almqvist > http://www.almqvist.net/johan/qmail/ >

Does anyone know _why_ this happens? -Johan -- Johan Almqvist http://www.almqvist.net/johan/qmail/ msg09989/pgp0.pgp Description: PGP signature

Yes, I've seen it happen. Most probably you will have to prepend the "prepend" part for this domain from control/virtuals to the file home/vpopmail/domains/mydomain/mylist/inlocal But I don't really know why this happens, and even less why it only happens sometimes. -Johan -- Johan Almqvist http://www.almqvist.net/johan/qmail/ msg09987/pgp0.pgp Description: PGP signature
[vchkpw] ezmlm+vpopmail
Hi, I have qmail and now I would like to have ezmlm. I read Install notes for ezmlm and after installation I make my list by the commmad ezmlm-make /home/vpopmail/domains/mydomain/mylist \ /home/vpopmail/domains/mydomain/.qmail-mylist \ mylist \ mydomain chown -R vpopmail.vchkpw mydomain/ chown vpopmail.vchkpw .qmail-mylist* But if I send email at mylist-subscribe@mydomain or mylist-help@mydomain I get this error: ezmlm-manage:_fatal:_I_do_not_accept_messages_at_this_address_(#5.1.1)/ Any idea about?
