No, create a /var/qmail/control/sql that contains that info.

Hmm. I tried that, but then the IP addresses are no longer written to my
vpopmail/relay table in the MySQL database.

the vchkpw program updates the tcp.smtp.cdb file. 

So you'll need to reconfigure vpopmail without roaming-users
