Are you just backing up or transferring accounts to a new server?


 cd /home/vpopmail/domains
 tar cvf mailboxes.tar lippogeneral.com

 when restoring to another qmail (fresh install) .. :

 tar xvf mailboxes.tar

 all restored mailboxes unrecognized ..

are the uid/gid of vpopmail/vchkpw the same on the new box?
how about /var/qmail/users/assign?
how about the files in /var/qmail/control?
