Based on several requests I've received, I have updated my welcome message patch for 5.4.0-rc2. PLEASE NOTE: I do not have a running 5.4.0-rc2 setup with which to test and won't for another few weeks. As a result, this version of the patch is UNTESTED. All I could do at this time was make sure it compiled. Having said that, it's a really simple patch. If you have any problems with it please contact me. Andrea, I was waiting for 5.4 to come out before redoing it. Per Tom's message I'll wait until rc2 is released and then update it. Before anyone starts updating it, please wait for the 5.4.0-rc2 release which should be later today. SourceForge's developer CVS server has been down (scheduled) since yesterday, otherwise the release would have been ready today.
